During this interview, Florence Vasilescu was able to go back over the genesis of FirmFunding and what constitutes its raison d'être, the access of SMEs to all sources of financing and in particular to equity financing (private debt and/or private equity). Indeed:

• SMEs, in order to grow and develop, must be able to rely on financing other than banking, and thus diversify their sources of financing, as SMEs and other large groups have done for a long time
• The resulting support from financing professionals is a source of sustainability and solidity for these SMEs
• FirmFunding, the first and only platform dedicated to equity financing, is there to put SMEs with a development project in touch with professionals who can provide them with the necessary financing
